A compound sentence is made by joining two independent clauses together with a conjunction.

Example Sentences;

  • My mother washed the vegatables then she cut them into little pieces.
  • The bell rang and the music began.
  • I went there but i couldn’t find him.
  • I like hot chocolate; it sends me to sleep.
  • My family went to the shopping center yesterday, and we had a wonderful time.
